Catelyn Stark | Winterfell | Lady of Winterfell | FC: Michelle Fairley | Taken

Jon Arryn was dead, Ned was dead, and now her son was the hand of a newly crowned, volatile King. Cat was tired of standing by and allowing the men in her life put themselves in danger. Without giving herself time to mourn her dead husband, Cat found herself playing a major role in the game of thrones. So when a Dornish solider came to Robb Stark’s camp, Catelyn urged Robb to take the alliance with the Targaryen’s because she knew that if Viserys did get the iron throne without Robb’s help, House Stark would truly crumble. When Robb marched off with his fleet to sack the city, Catelyn returned home to Winterfell to Bran and Rickon. Now, she’s determined secure allies across the whole Northern region, and she attempts to find good suitors to marry her children to. This is proving difficult thing to do during a post war country. She does not believe Viserys should be King, but she is yet to decide who she feels should sit on the throne. She is desperate to see her children to a brighter future, but is quickly forgetting all the pain and grief building inside her.
